The Pathfinder Philosophy
It's simple: We C.A.R.E.

Care
About the well-being of individuals and their families

Advocate
On behalf of the individuals we serve to ensure they receive quality service and care to live a full life

Respect
The unique nature of each individual and their situation

Empower
Individuals to make choices, set goals, and reach their maximum potential.

At Pathfinder Care Coordination, we believe everyone deserves a life that is fulfilling, regardless of ability.
We want to encourage each person we serve to follow their own path but never feel they have to travel that path alone.

We are a locally owned, independent, conflict-free agency.

"Not all storms come to disrupt your life,
Some come to clear your path..."

Our Staff

Rebecca Racenet
Rebecca Racenet is a certified care coordinator and agency program administrator through State of Alaska Senior and Disabilities Services. Rebecca has a combination of personal and professional experience to help the individuals and families she serves. Rebecca has medical, legal, and educational experience, combined with advocacy leadership roles and training on the local and national levels.

Rebecca is the mom of 3 girls, one of whom has received TEFRA, then Waiver services, from a young age. Rebecca "gets it," and although no two experiences are alike, she empathizes with the challenges and stressors that can cause a person to feel overwhelmed when trying to navigate the services and supports within Alaska. She understands just how vital these services are to increase independence and ease stress on the individual and the family. She strives to make personal connections with individuals and their families to support them in the best way possible.
Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, traveling around our great state, arts & crafts, and reading about medieval history. She also speaks fluent Seinfeld.

Kaila Parker
Kaila is Pathfinder Care Coordinations' Records Manager. Kaila is in charge of requesting medical & educational records needed to maintain client files. Kaila improves our agency's efficiency so we can provide our clients with the best possible care coordination services. She upholds our privacy standards while ensuring we meet our client's documentation timelines and due dates, and have the information we need to address any new concerns.

Kaila was raised right here in Wasilla. She graduated from Wasilla High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Family & Life Cycles from UAA.
After college, Kaila enjoyed a fulfilling 9-year career with the Alaska Court System. She had many different jobs, varying from Criminal Case Manager to Courtroom Judicial Assistant. Kaila voluntarily left her court position in October 2020 to enjoy spending more time with her husband and family. Kaila has been married to the love of her life for 8 years, and they have 2 dogs - Juno & Piper. Kaila has a passion for dogs, enjoys cooking/baking, and loves to travel.
